Position Title:Construction Manager(KGISL SEZ,Sarvanampatti)

Qualification ;Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience :Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction management,
including experience with large-scale commercial or residential projects.
Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from initiation to completion.
Salary :60 k – 90 K / Month – (Negotiable for the right candidate)
Job Description:
Project Planning & Coordination:
Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to define project scope, goals, and objectives.
Review and approve project designs, blueprints, and specifications to ensure they meet client requirements.
Procure materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the project.
Site Management & Supervision:
Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
Manage and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction to minimize delays.
Budget & Cost Control:
Prepare detailed budgets and track project costs.
Monitor and control project expenditures, ensuring projects are completed within budget.
Review and approve invoices and purchase orders.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain cost-effective solutions.
Quality Assurance & Safety Management:
Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Ensure the use of quality materials and construction practices, adhering to the project’s specifications.
Conduct quality control inspections at various stages of construction to guarantee work meets required standards.
Oversee the implementation of environmental sustainability practices, if applicable.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, project stakeholders, and team members.
Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders on project progress, timelines, and any issues or concerns.
Prepare and present detailed progress reports, including schedule updates and any budget adjustments.
•Contract Management & Compliance:
Oversee the preparation and administration of contracts, including subcontractor agreements.
Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and resolve any disputes that arise.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead and mentor a team of construction professionals, ensuring their development and efficiency.
Manage the recruitment and performance of subcontractors and vendors.
Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
LEED accreditation (if working on sustainable projects) is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
oExcellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Proficient in project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project, etc.).
Familiarity with cost estimating and scheduling software.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions:
The role requires time spent on construction sites, which may include long hours, physical activity, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
Occasional travel may be required, depending on the project location.
