Job summary-Assist the Business Development Consultant in outreach,lead generation,CRM updates,and marketing
tasks. This role is ideal for someone seeking to grow within the sales and marketing skills in a B2B environment.
Education-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience-1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or administrative roles (freshers with strong communication skills may also apply).
Exposure to the maritime industry or B2B sales is an advantage.
Familiarity with CRM tools and email marketing platforms preferred.
Authorities;
• Authorized to contact potential clients and follow up on leads.
• Can update CRM and internal records with client and sales activity data.
• May coordinate directly with marketing vendors or design teams for collaterals, subject to manager approval.
Responsibilities;
• Cold calling and emailing potential maritime clients.
• Lead nurturing and scheduling follow-ups.
• CRM data entry and management.
• Coordination of meetings, demos, and client interactions.
• Supporting the creation of marketing content and outreach campaigns.
• Assisting in the evaluation of marketing efforts.
Duties;
• Conducting research on potential maritime customers.
• Making outbound calls to introduce products and schedule meetings.
• Sending follow-up emails and sharing product information.
• Maintaining accurate and timely CRM entries.
• Preparing PowerPoint presentations, sales kits, and brochures.
• Supporting social media marketing on platforms like LinkedIn.
• Drafting basic reports on outreach performance and client engagement.
Delegation of duties;
• In the absence of the Sales and Marketing Executive, duties may be delegated to the Business
Development Consultant.
Skills;
• Strong spoken and written communication skills.
• Confidence in cold calling and professional emailing.
• Organizational ability with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
• Interest in maritime technology and IT solutions.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
